Hello!
You’ve received this email because you’ve signed up for noodsletter. Thank you!
However, this installment of noodsletter is for paid subscribers only. If you would like to read about this sourdough bread laminated with Tapatio instant noodle seasoning, toasted, covered with cheese, then dipped into a bowl of my own non-instant ramen, then please consider becoming a paid subscriber.
One of my paid subscribers emailed me to say that they felt an additional installment for paid subscribers is unnecessary, since they viewed their subscription as a token of support for the free newsletters I put out every other week. While I appreciate the sentiment immensely (really, Bob, thank you!), I view these paid installments as the least I can do for the handful of people who are generous enough to offer real dollars to support this odd endeavor. While $5/month may or may not not seem like a lot to many people, it is a lot to me and it means a lot to me.
For the final noodsletter of this year, I humbly ask that you, too, consider a paid subscription, particularly if you’ve found in the past six months that this newsletter offers you about $5 worth of entertainment, entertainment, or—ha!—edification.
To all, paid and free subscribers alike, I wish you a Merry Christmas if you celebrate, and a happy and healthy new year. The first noodsletter of the new year will arrive on January 7th!
